This will relieve vomiting and abdominal pain. You can even have this mixture along with fresh curd. Do not take sour curd, it will aggravate vomiting sensation.
Tulsi leaves have great medicinal properties. Prepare a paste with either Basil or Tulsi leaves along with some curd and add black salt and black pepper to it. This mixture gives fast relief from symptoms of food poisoning such as vomiting, abdominal pain and weakness.
To prevent dehydration that occurs due to vomiting and diarrhea, it is essential to consume more amounts of fluid. It is a good idea to consume warm water immediately after vomiting as warm water controls the vomiting sensation and also soothes the abdominal muscles and also reduces the pain.
Precautions to Be Taken to Prevent Food Poisoning
In some cases which involve the attack of bacteria of Botulism, E. coli and Salmonella species cause severe side effects which in more severe cases may also lead to death. Hence, it is essential to take all necessary precauti..revent food poisoning.
• Keep your kitchen and all utensils clean. Most of them consider using antibacterial liquids to clean the utensils. But it is not essential, lemon will be sufficient.
• Clean the refrigerator frequently and maintain appropriate temperature.
• Never consume raw meat or other non-vegetarian foods. Cook them well and eat when fresh.
• Be careful with all bakery products such as cakes or bread.
• Never store dairy products for a very long period.
• For canned food check for seal and expiry date. Not just the canned food, always check the expiry date for any food product you purchase.
• Wash your hands thoroughly before cooking the food or having food.
